The Public Prayer Protection Act - Denies the Supreme Court and district courts jurisdiction to review any matter
related to the alleged establishment of religion involving the expression of public prayer by any federal, state, or local
government entity or a government officer or agent acting in an official capacity. It will, in effect, allow public
officials to express the faith in public without fear of harrassment from the courts.
Whereas the radical left is using the federal court system to attack
God and ban government officials from participating in prayers at official government functions;
Whereas such bans are unconstitutional restrictions on the rights of individuals
to practice their religion in public;
Whereas these bans undermine
our national heritage, and destroy our national unity;
Whereas
banning prayer in public is merely the first step in the radical left’s plan to drive religion completely underground;
Whereas a more and more religious Americans are being intimidated
into hiding their faith and are terrified of being attacked by anti-religion “activists” for practicing their
faith in public;
Whereas the U.S. Congress has the power to stop federal
courts from imposing such unconstitutional bans on public prayer;
Be it resolved that I, the undersigned, do hereby demand that the U.S.
Congress pass the Public Prayer Protection Act in order to defend our civil liberties and America’s religious heritage
from out of control left-wing judges and radical anti-God special interest groups.
