Basketball Star Calls Conservatives "Fake Christians"
Former basketball star Charles Barkley who is known for his outrageous and controversial antics recently
declared that conservative Christians are "fake Christians." Mr. Barkley was arrested in the 1990s for throwing
a man through a plate glass window and separately for spitting on a young girl.
Liberals Fight Fla. Education Law
The left-wing Americans United for
the Separation of Church and State is opposing proposals in Florida that would allow the state to contract out education services
to private schools.
College of William
and Mary Rids Itself of Controversial President
The College of William and Mary in Virginia refused to
renew the contract of its controversial President, Gene Nichols. Nichols, a former ACLU official, made national headlines
when he unilaterally removed a cross from the college's Wren Chapel. In God We Trust volunteers helped with the nationwide
campaign opposing Nichols.
