Nativity Scenes Vandalized Across the Nation

According to the Catholic League, scores of nativity scenes across the country were vandalized during the recently concluded Christmas season. Statues were routinely beheaded, graffiti often defaced the icons, and some vandals even stole replicas of the baby Jesus.

 

British Mother Ordered to Remove Her Christmas Lights

Dorothy Gless, a single mother of three children living in Great Britain, was ordered over the Christmas holiday to remove her Christmas lights from her house. A uniformed housing worker told Mrs. Glenn that her Christmas display was "offensive" and that it had to go. Fortunately, the public outcry over the bigoted housing officer’s action was so great, Mrs. Glenn was allowed to keep her Christmas display.

 

Politically Correct Florida University Replaces Christmas with "Ugly Sweater Competition"

In a fit of anti-religious intolerance Florida Gulf Coast University banned all Christmas decorations including the traditional display of a twenty foot Christmas tree. Instead the "school" established a "giving garden" and sponsored an ugly sweater contest.

 

 


Taxpayer Funded Radio Promotes "HumanistLight" Holiday

While the National Humanist Association was attacking Christmas and a national atheist leader was declaring that Christianity is the equivalent to slavery, National Public Radio took time this past Christmas Season to promote "HumanistLight." This eight year-old atheist holiday is supposed to be celebrated sometime around the 23rd of December -- whenever busy atheists can find the time. According to NPR the made-up holiday has no real traditions since atheists don’t believe in any type of doctrine.

University of North Carolina Bans Christmas Trees

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill also banned Christmas Trees from its libraries. No word yet on whether Tarheel students were allowed to celebrate "HumanistLight."
