What an Atheist State Looks Like

Ri Hyon Ok, Christian Korean mother of three, was reportedly executed in public by the Atheist government of North Korea for distributing copies of the Holy Bible. Her family was reportedly sent to a government concentration camp. The North Korean constitution  claims to guarantee freedom of religion but the militantly atheist government bans all expressions of religious belief by its citizens.  At one time Pyongyang, now the North Korean capital, was apparently known as the “Jerusalem of the East” because of its large Christian community.
