In God We Trust hereby bestows "The Cup of Wrath" on Nebraska State Senator Ernie
Chambers for ridiculing his constituents and ignoring his responsibilities under the Nebraska state constitution by filing
a lawsuit against God.
Senator Chambers, an avowed atheist and radical left-wing politician
known for ridiculous political stunts, filed a lawsuit against the Almighty in order to "protest" what he feels
are injustices in the Nebraska judicial system. Caring not a wit about insulting his constituents, embarrassing his state,
or upholding the Nebraska Constitution, the preamble of which states "We, the people, grateful to Almighty God for our
freedom...," Senator Chambers proceeded with his lawsuit to the point where he claimed that University of Nebraska athletic
director Tom Osborne was in fact God.
For insulting his constituents, embarrassing
his state and making a mockery of Nebraska's judicial system, Senator Chambers has earned himself a full draught
from the Cup of Wrath.
